Section 16-17-7 Powers of authority. The authority shall have the following powers, together
with all powers incidental thereto or necessary to the discharge thereof in corporate form:
(1) To have succession by its corporate name for the duration of time (which may be in perpetuity,
subject to the provisions of Section 16-17-19) specified in its certificate of incorporation;
(2) To sue and be sued in its own name in civil actions and to defend actions against it;
(3) To adopt and make use of a corporate seal and to alter the same at pleasure; (4) To adopt
and alter bylaws for the regulation and conduct of its affairs and business; (5) To acquire,

Section 22-21-260 Definitions. As used in this article, the following words and terms, and
the plurals thereof, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, unless otherwise

Section 5-18-15 Interest rates, charges, and fees. (a) Maximum rates of interest and charge.
Every licensee under this chapter may contract for and receive as interest on any loan of
money less than one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500) an amount at a rate not exceeding
three percent a month on that part of the unpaid principal balance not in excess of two hundred
dollars ($200), and two percent a month on that part of the unpaid principal balance in excess
