Section 27-32-6 Grounds - Rehabilitation of domestic insurers. The commissioner may apply to the court for an order appointing him as receiver of, and directing him to rehabilitate, a domestic insurer upon one or more of the following grounds. (a) An individual applying for a resident insurance producer license shall make application to the commissioner on the Uniform Application, and an individual applying for a service representative license shall make application to the commissioner on the application prescribed by the commissioner, each declaring under penalty of refusal, suspension, or revocation of the license that the statements made in the application are true, correct, and complete to the best of the individual's knowledge and belief. No professional bail company shall execute or become surety on any appearance bond in this state, unless it has an order granting authorization to become professional surety on any bail. (a) Commencing on May 14, 2009, insurance companies shall provide a premium discount or insurance rate reduction in an amount and manner as established in subsection (g) and pursuant to Section 27-31D-3.
