Section 32-7-22 Motor vehicle liability policy defined; policy provisions. (a) A motor vehicle
liability policy, as the term is used in this chapter, means an owner's or an operator's policy
of liability insurance, certified as provided in Section 32-7-20 or Section 32-7-21 as proof
of financial responsibility, and issued, except as otherwise provided in Section 32-7-21,
by an insurance carrier duly authorized to transact business in this state, to or for the
benefit of the person named in the policy as insured. (b) The owner's policy of liability
insurance: (1) Shall designate by explicit description or by appropriate reference all motor
vehicles to be insured; and (2) Shall insure the person named in the policy and any other
person, as insured, using any motor vehicle or motor vehicles designated in the policy with
the express or implied permission of the named insured, against loss from the liability imposed

Section 27-25-2 Applicability of chapter. (a) This chapter shall apply to all title insurers
and title agents engaged in the business of title insurance in this state. (b) Except as otherwise
expressly provided in this chapter, except where the context otherwise requires, and except
those provisions which are inconsistent with this chapter, the provisions of this title, the
Alabama Insurance Code, which apply to title insurance and title insurance companies, shall
continue to be applicable to the business of title insurance and title insurance companies.
No amendment to this title that is enacted after October 1, 2001, that is inconsistent with

Section 26-2A-156 Claims against protected person; enforcement. (a) A conservator may pay or
secure from the estate claims against the estate or against the protected person arising before
or after the conservatorship upon their presentation and allowance in accordance with the
priorities stated in subsection (d). A claim may be presented by either of the following methods:
(1) The claimant may deliver or mail to the conservator a written statement of the claim indicating

Section 27-6B-2 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following
