Section 27-36A-15 Valuation manual for policies issued on or after the operative date
of the valuation manual. (a) For policies issued on or after the operative date of the valuation
manual, the standard prescribed in the valuation manual is the minimum standard of valuation
required under subsection (b) of Section 27-36A-3, except as provided under subsection
(e) or (g) of this section, Section 27-36A-19, or Section 27-36A-20.
(b) The operative date of the valuation manual is January 1 of the first calendar year following
the first July 1 as of which all of the following have occurred: (1) The valuation manual
has been adopted by the NAIC by an affirmative vote of at least 42 members, or three-fourths
of the members voting, whichever is greater. (2) The Standard Valuation Law, as amended by
the NAIC in 2009, or legislation including substantially similar terms and provisions, has
been enacted by states representing greater than 75 percent of the direct premiums written

Section 27-42-8 Powers and duties. (a) The association shall: (1)a. Be obligated to
pay covered claims existing prior to the order of liquidation arising within 30 days after
the order of liquidation, or before the policy expiration date if less than 30 days after
the order of liquidation, or before the insured replaces the policy or causes its cancellation,
if he or she does so within 30 days of the order of liquidation. The obligation shall be satisfied

Section 27-36A-5 Computation of minimum standard. (a) Except as provided in Sections
27-36A-6, 27-36A-7 and 27-36A-14, the minimum standard for the valuation of all the policies

Section 34-37-5 Deposit and disbursement of funds; bond of the executive director and
deputy director. (a) There is established a separate special revenue trust fund in the State
Treasury to be known as the State of Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitters Examining Board Fund.
All receipts collected by the board under this chapter shall be deposited in this fund and

2019. This section provides for transition rules for the implementation of the Financial
Institution Excise Tax Reform Act of 2019. (1) Act 2019-284 imposes for the first time a system

Section 22-35-4 Alabama Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Trust Fund. There is
hereby created the Alabama Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Trust Fund, hereinafter
referred to as the "fund," to be administered by the Secretary-Treasurer of the
Retirement Systems of Alabama. The fund shall be used by the department as a revolving fund
