Section 27-25-4.8 Implementation. (a) The commissioner, by rule pursuant to Chapter 2, may provide for the implementation of the requirements of this chapter. (b) Each title insurance agent certificate of authority in force prior to January 1, 2013, shall be issued a replacement title insurance agent license and appointment upon payment of the annual fee in the amount set forth in Section 27-25-4 prior to January 1, 2013. A replacement title insurance agent shall be authorized to continue to issue title insurance policies in the same manner as permitted in Section 27-25-4 prior to January 1, 2013. (c) A replacement title insurance agent license issued in accordance with subsection (b) shall be valid for six months, during which time the person shall satisfy the requirements for a title insurance agent license pursuant to Sections 27-25-4.1 and 27-25-4.3 or the replacement license shall thereupon expire and be canceled. (a) Each mutual aid association shall, annually on or before March 1, file with the commissioner a full and true statement of its financial condition, transactions, and affairs as of the December 31 preceding. Section 34-14C-4 Licensure; inspections. (a) Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, a home medical equipment services provider shall be licensed annually by the board before the provider may engage in the provision of home medical equipment services. In Alabama, when a single business entity provides home medical equipment services from more than one location within the state, each such location shall be licensed. A provider of home medical equipment services that has a principal place of business outside this state shall maintain at least one physical location within this state, each of which shall be licensed. (a) A professional bondsman or recovery agent commencing business in any judicial circuit in this state on and after June 1, 2020, shall attend a 12-hour instructional course conducted by an educational provider approved by the board and pass an examination approved by the board and administered by an educational provider approved by the board.
