Section 27-25-4.5 License denial, non-renewal, or revocation. (a) The commissioner may place
on probation, suspend, revoke, or refuse to issue or renew the license of a title insurance
agent or may levy a civil penalty pursuant to subsection (d), or any combination of these
actions, for any one or more of the following causes: (1) Providing incorrect, misleading,
incomplete, or materially untrue information in the license application. (2) Violating any
insurance laws, rules, subpoena, or order of the commissioner. (3) Obtaining or attempting
to obtain a license through misrepresentation or fraud. (4) Improperly withholding, misappropriating,
or converting any monies or properties received in the course of acting as a title insurance
agent or in otherwise doing insurance business in this state or elsewhere. (5) Intentionally

Section 27-25-9 Violations; enforcement of chapter; penalties. (a) Each individual transaction
which is in violation of this chapter or which does not otherwise conform to the requirements
of this chapter shall be considered a violation. (b) This chapter shall be enforceable only
by the commissioner and does not create any private cause of action or other private legal
recourse. (c) The commissioner may, in his or her discretion and upon good cause shown, revoke
the certificate of authority of a title agent, revoke the license issued to a title insurer,
or impose a fine in an amount not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500) for each violation

Section 27-29-6.2 Group-wide supervisor for internationally active insurance group. (a)(1)
The commissioner may act as the group-wide supervisor for any internationally active insurance
group in accordance with this section. The commissioner may otherwise acknowledge another

foreign or alien society shall transact business in this state without a license issued by

Section 32-7C-36 Legislative intent, scope, and construction of article. (a) It is the intent
of the Legislature to provide for uniformity of laws governing TNCs, TNC drivers, and TNC
vehicles throughout the state, and to provide that TNCs, TNC drivers, and TNC vehicles be

Section 6-12A-4 Agent for service of process. (a) Agent for service of process required. Any
non-resident or foreign non-participating manufacturer that has not registered to do business
in the state as a foreign corporation or business entity, as a condition precedent to having
its brand families listed or retained in the directory, shall appoint and continually engage
without interruption the services of an agent in this state to act as agent for the service
of process on whom all process, and any action or proceeding against it concerning or arising
out of the enforcement of this chapter and Section 6-12-3, may be served in any manner authorized
