Section 27-3-13 Deposit requirements - Special deposit - Title insurers. (a) For authority
to transact such insurance in this state, a foreign title insurer shall have and maintain
on deposit in this state for the better protection of its guaranty holders and creditors,
resident in this state, under its contracts of title insurance, cash and securities eligible
under Section 27-6-3 having a value at all times of not less than $50,000.00. The deposit
shall be so made and maintained in trust with a bank or trust company located in this state,
approved by the commissioner, having a capital and surplus of not less than $500,000.00. (b)
At its option, a domestic title insurer may maintain a deposit in like manner, amount, character
and for like purposes as required for foreign insurers under subsection (a) of this section.
(c) Such deposits shall be subject to the applicable provisions of Chapter 6 of this title.

Section 27-40-1 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases
shall have the following meanings: (1) INSURANCE PREMIUM FINANCE COMPANY. A person engaged
in the business of entering into premium finance agreements. (2) PREMIUM FINANCE AGREEMENT.

Section 16-16B-8 (Implementation Conditioned on Separate Legislative Enactment.) Refunding

Section 27-15-8.1 Life insurance policy provisions - Maximum rates of interest on policy loans.
(a) For purposes of this section the "published monthly average" means: (1) The
Monthly Average of the Composite Yield on Seasoned Corporate Bonds as published by Moody's
Investors Service, Inc., or any successor thereto; or (2) In the event that the Monthly Average
of the Composite Yield on Seasoned Corporate Bonds is no longer published, a substantially
similar average, established by regulation issued by the commissioner. (b)(1) Policies issued
on or after May 15, 1981, shall provide for policy loan interest rates as follows: a. A provision
permitting a maximum interest rate of not more than eight percent per annum; or b. A provision
permitting an adjustable maximum interest rate established from time to time by the life insurer

Section 34-14-9 Complaint and hearing; appeal; disciplinary actions. (a) Any person wishing
to make a complaint against a licensee or apprentice under this chapter shall reduce the same
to writing and file his or her complaint with the board within one year from the date of the
action upon which the complaint is based. If the board investigates and determines the charges
made in the complaint are sufficient to warrant a hearing to determine whether the license

have, any licensee and any person considering himself aggrieved by any act or order of the
