Section 27-22A-7 Application for license and fees. (a) A sworn application for a license under this chapter shall be made to and filed with the department on forms prescribed and furnished by the commissioner. (b) The application shall provide all of the following: (1) The name, residence address, and other information required by the commissioner for an employee or officer of the vendor that is designated by the applicant as the person responsible for the vendor's compliance with the requirements of this chapter. However, if the vendor derives more than 50 percent of its revenue from the sale of portable electronics insurance the information noted above shall be provided for all officers, directors, and shareholders of record having beneficial ownership of 10 percent or more of any class of securities registered under the federal securities law. Section 27-5B-8 Certified reinsurer. (a) Credit shall be allowed when the reinsurance is ceded to an assuming insurer that is certified by the commissioner as a reinsurer in this state and secures its obligations in accordance with the requirements of this section. Section 30-5B-5 Registration of order. (a) Any individual may register a foreign protection order in this state. To register a foreign protection order, an individual shall present a certified copy of the order to any circuit or district court clerk in the state and complete an affidavit as provided in subsection (d).
