Section 27-1-11 Dentists and dental hygienists as "physicians" under health or accident
insurance policies. Whenever the terms "physician" and/or "doctor" are
used in any policy of health or accident insurance issued in this state or in any contract
for the provision of health care, services, or benefits issued by any health, medical or other
service corporation existing under, and by virtue of any laws of this state, said terms shall
include within their meaning those persons licensed under and in accordance with Chapter 9
of Title 34 in respect to any care, services, procedures, or benefits covered by said policy
of insurance or health care contract which the said persons are licensed to perform, any provisions
in any such policy of insurance or health care contract to the contrary notwithstanding. This
section shall be applicable to all policies in this state, regardless of date of issue, on

Section 15-13-159 Qualifications - Professional surety company. No professional surety company
shall execute or become surety on any appearance bond in this state, unless it has an order
granting authorization to become professional surety on any bail. The order granting the authorization
shall be reissued annually, prior to January 1 of each year, by the presiding circuit judge
of the county in which the company desires to execute bail or appearance bonds. Prior to the

Section 27-42-5 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following
meanings, respectively, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) ACCOUNT. Any one

Section 11-65-16 Review of application for horse racing facility license. (a) A commission
shall promptly consider any application for the issuance or transfer of a horse racing facility
license submitted to it and shall grant or deny the issuance or transfer of such license based
on all information before it, including the results of investigations it deems appropriate.
A commission shall deny the issuance of an original horse racing facility license to any applicant
unless it finds that the applicant's facility will meet the following minimum standards: (1)
