Section 2-15-61 Permits required for operation of livestock markets; applications; issuance;
revocation; appeals. (a) No person shall operate a livestock market in the State of Alabama
without first having obtained from the commissioner, as required by this division, an annual
permit therefor. (b) The application for such a permit shall be made upon forms furnished
by the department, which shall be verified by affidavit of the applicant which shall include
all of the following information: (1) The name and address of the applicant or applicants
and, if a corporation, its officers, and if a partnership, the names and addresses of its

Section 32-8-2 Definitions. For the purpose of this chapter, the following terms shall
have the meanings respectively ascribed to them in this section, except where the context
clearly indicates a different meaning: (1) CURRENT ADDRESS. A new address different from the

Section 11-51-191 Determination of amounts due; preliminary and final assessments; review;
appeal; refund for overpayment. (a) If the taxing jurisdiction determines that the amount
of any business license tax reported on or remitted with a business license remittance form
is incorrect, if no business license remittance form is filed within the time prescribed,
or if the information provided on the form is insufficient to allow the taxing jurisdiction
to determine the proper amount of business license tax due, the taxing jurisdiction may calculate
the correct amount of the tax based on the most accurate and complete information reasonably
obtainable. The taxing jurisdiction may thereafter enter a preliminary assessment for the

Section 32-7-6 Security required; suspensions; applicability. (a) If 20 days after the
receipt of a report of a motor vehicle accident within this state which has resulted in bodily
injury or death, or damage to the property of any one person in excess of five hundred dollars
($500), the director does not have on file evidence satisfactory that the person who would
otherwise be required to file security under subsection (b) of this section has been

Section 2-27-9 Registration, application, and fees; registration powers of commissioner;
appeal and review. (a) Every pesticide or device which is distributed, sold, or offered for
sale within this state or delivered for transportation or transported in intrastate commerce
or between points within this state through any point outside this state shall be registered
with the commissioner upon application forms prescribed and furnished by the commissioner,
and such registration or registrations shall be renewed during the registrant's renewal year,

Section 27-29-3.1 Acquisition involving change in control of insurer authorized to do
business in Alabama; pre-acquisition notification; violation of competitive standards. (a)
