Section 32-7A-2 Definitions. (a) For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings respectively ascribed to them in this section, except in those instances where the context clearly indicates a different meaning: (1) CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE. A document issued by an insurer or its authorized representative showing that a specific vehicle is insured for no less than the minimum limits of liability coverage for bodily injury or death and for destruction of property under subsection (c) of Section 32-7-6. (2) COMMERCIAL AUTOMOBILE LIABILITY INSURANCE POLICY. An insurance policy that: a. Is written on either a commercial coverage or other commercially rated personal policy form, including, but not limited to, a commercial auto, garage, or truckers form, and is not dependent on the type, number, or ownership of vehicle or entity covered or insured. b. Insures vehicles that are not identified individually by vehicle identification number on the policy....

Section 27-25-6 Companies to file rates. (a) Every title insurer shall file with the commissioner its schedule of premium rates and every modification of any premium rate that it proposes to use in this state. The premium rates shall not be subject to rebate and the rebate of premiums to the insured are expressly prohibited. If a reissue premium rate is filed by an insurer, an insured may receive reissue credit only when the insured physically produces the prior title insurance policy, including schedules associated therewith, issued by a title insurer licensed to be engaged in the business of title insurance in this state. Section 15-13-159 Qualifications - Professional surety company. No professional surety company shall execute or become surety on any appearance bond in this state, unless it has an order granting authorization to become professional surety on any bail. Section 27-27-17 Domestic mutual insurers - Solicitation of qualifying applications for insurance. (a) Upon receipt of the commissioner's approval of the bond or deposit as provided in Section 27-27-16 the directors and officers of the proposed domestic mutual insurer may commence solicitation of such requisite applications for insurance policies as they may accept and may receive deposits of premiums thereon.
