Section 27-31D-2.1 Endorsement offer to upgrade home to fortified standard when damage requires roof replacement. (a) Insurance companies writing homeowners insurance shall offer a fortified bronze roof endorsement to upgrade a nonfortified home, which is otherwise eligible for a fortified standard, to a fortified standard identified in Section 27-31D-2, when the insured incurs damage covered by the policy requiring the roof to be replaced. The endorsement shall upgrade the nonfortified home consistent with the fortified requirements for the geographic area in which the nonfortified home is located. Section 27-22A-6 Termination of portable electronics insurance. Notwithstanding any other provision of law: (1) An insurer may terminate or otherwise change the terms and conditions of a policy of portable electronics insurance only upon providing the policyholder and enrolled customers with at least 30 days' notice. (2) If the insurer changes the terms and conditions, then the insurer shall provide the vendor policyholder with a revised policy or endorsement and each enrolled customer with a revised certificate, endorsement, updated brochure, or other evidence indicating a change in the terms and conditions has occurred and a summary of material changes. Section 32-7A-8 Suspension of registration - Notice. When the department determines that an owner has registered or maintained the registration of a motor vehicle without a liability insurance policy or a commercial automobile liability insurance policy in accordance with Section 32-7A-4, the department, following the expiration of the 30-day period from the date of the notice provided under Section 32-7A-11, shall notify the owner that such owner's vehicle registration has been suspended. Section 27-42-12 Exhaustion of rights; nonduplication of recovery. (a) Any person having a claim under an insurance policy, whether or not it is a policy issued by a member insurer, where the claim under the other policy arises from the same facts, injury, or loss that gave rise to the covered claim against the association, shall be required first to exhaust all coverage provided by any such policy. Any amount payable on a covered claim under this chapter shall be reduced by the full applicable limits stated in the other insurance policy and the association shall receive a full credit for the stated limits, or, where there are no applicable stated limits, the claim shall be reduced by the total recovery.
