Section 25-11-3 Definitions. When used in this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings: (1) CLAIM INFORMATION. Data related to whether an individual is receiving, has received, or has made application for unemployment compensation, the amount of such compensation being received or to be received by the individual, and the individual's current or most recent home address. (2) COMMISSIONER. The Commissioner of the State of Alabama, Department of Human Resources. (3) CUSTODIAN OF RECORDS. The person within the Department of Labor authorized to maintain the data collected under this chapter, including, but not limited to, all employment hiring data entered into the State Directory of New Hires, wage information, and unemployment claim and compensation information. Section 27-55-2 Definitions. As used in this chapter, these terms shall have the following meanings: (1) ABUSE. The occurrence of one or more of the following acts by a family or household member, as defined by subdivision (3) of subsection (b) of Section 15-10-3: a. in the plan, then the defined benefit dollar limitation of subsection (b) shall be multiplied by a fraction, a. the numerator of which is the number of years, or part thereof, of participation in the plan, and b. the denominator of which is 10. Section 36-26-14 Deferred compensation plans for certain employees. (a) The personnel board may adopt, establish, and maintain a deferred compensation plan or plans, except under Internal Revenue Code Section 403 (b), for the employees of the State of Alabama or any city, town, county, or public entity or corporation organized pursuant to the laws of this state. Notwithstanding the foregoing, prior to the employees of a county or political subdivision of the county participating in a plan, the employing county or political subdivision of the county shall approve participation in the plan. Section 27-7-4.2 Licenses - Applicability to insurance producer. (a) Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to require an insurer to obtain an insurance producer license. In this section, the term "insurer" does not include an insurer's officers, directors, employees, subsidiaries, or affiliates. Section 25-4-51 Rates of contributions, etc., by employers. (a) Contributions.
