Section 34-27B-2 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) BOARD. The Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy. (2) DIRECT CLINICAL SUPERVISION. A situation where a licensed respiratory therapist or physician is available for the purpose of communication, consultation, and assistance. (3) HEALTHCARE FACILITY. The definition shall be the same as in Section 22-21-260. (4) MEDICALLY APPROVED PROTOCOL. A detailed plan for taking specific diagnostic or treatment actions, or both, authorized by the treating physician of the patient, all of which actions shall be: a. In a hospital or other inpatient health care facility, approved by the supervising physician of the respiratory therapist or in an outpatient treatment setting approved by the supervising physician of the respiratory therapist. b. Section 15-20A-26 Juvenile sex offender - Treatment; risk assessment. (a) Upon adjudication of delinquency for a sex offense, a juvenile sex offender shall be required to receive sex offender treatment by a sex offender treatment program or provider approved by the Department of Youth Services. (b) Upon completion of sex offender treatment, the juvenile sex offender shall be required to undergo a sex offender risk assessment. The treatment provider shall provide a copy of the risk assessment to the sentencing court, the prosecuting attorney, and the juvenile probation office not less than 60 days prior to the projected release of the juvenile sex offender from a facility where the juvenile sex offender does not have unsupervised access to the public or immediately upon completion of the risk assessment if the juvenile sex offender is not in a facility where the juvenile sex offender does not have unsupervised access to the public. Section 20-2-213 Reporting requirements. (a) Each of the entities designated in subsection (b) shall report to the department, or to an entity designated by the department, controlled substances prescription information as designated by regulation pertaining to all Class II, Class III, Class IV, and Class V controlled substances in such manner as may be prescribed by the department by regulation. The SHPDA, pursuant to the provisions of Section 22-21-274, shall prescribe by rules and regulations the criteria and clarifying definitions for reviews covered by this article. Section 16-1-1 Definitions. For purposes of this title, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section: (1) SCHOLASTIC DAY. Section 27-19-38 Coverage of newly born children in health insurance policies. (a) All individual and group health insurance policies providing coverage on an expense-incurred basis and individual and group service or indemnity type contracts issued by a nonprofit service corporation which provide coverage for a family member of the insured or subscriber shall, as to such family members' coverage, also provide that the health insurance benefits applicable for children shall be payable with respect to a newly born child of the insured or subscriber from the moment of birth. (a) In addition to all other appropriations and apportionments of public school money now provided by law and made available for public schools there shall be apportioned and paid to local boards of education from the Foundation Program Fund, the amounts to be determined as hereinafter provided and in accordance with regulations of the State Board of Education. Section 22-52-10.10 Renewal of outpatient commitment order. (a) A petition for renewal of an outpatient commitment order may be filed by the director of a designated mental health facility or his or her designee at least 30 days prior to the expiration of the current commitment order. The petition, together with a copy of the original commitment order and copies of any subsequent renewal commitment orders, shall be filed with the probate court of the county where the commitment was originally ordered. The petition shall explain in detail why renewal of the order is being requested and shall include testimony affirming the facility's belief that the respondent meets the requirements for renewal pursuant to Section 22-52-10.2.
