Section 2-27-53 License - Required; fees; examination and certification; license restrictions. (a) No person may engage in the custom application of pesticides within this state at any time without first procuring an annual license from the commissioner. The fee for such license which shall accompany the application for a license shall be established by the Board of Agriculture and Industries for the custom application of pesticides by the use of ground equipment. The fee for a license where the applicant will perform the custom application of pesticides by the use of a single aircraft shall be established by the Board of Agriculture and Industries. (a) It shall be the duty of each wholesale dealer or jobber who sells, stores, or delivers cigarettes to retail sellers in this county to affix to each package of cigarettes sold or delivered in the county a stamp or stamps in the proper amounts as set forth in Section 45-27-247.02. Each wholesaler or jobber who desires to do so may purchase stamps from the judge of probate at a 10 percent discount on the entire amount of sale when the purchases are made in quantities of two hundred dollars ($200) or more.
