Section 27-44-8 Powers and duties of association. (a) If a member insurer is an impaired insurer,
the association may, in its discretion and subject to any conditions imposed by the association
that do not impair the contractual obligations of the impaired insurer, and that are approved

Section 28-3-190 Levy of tax; collection; disposition of proceeds by localities; enforcement
and administration; penalties; exclusive nature of tax. (a) Levy. In addition to the excise
tax levied by Article 5A of Chapter 3 of this title and the licenses provided for by Chapter
3A of this title and by Section 28-3-194, and any acts amendatory thereof, supplementary thereto
or substituted therefor, and municipal and county licenses, there is hereby levied a privilege
or excise tax on every person licensed under the provisions of Chapter 3A who sells, stores,
or receives for the purpose of distribution, to any person, firm, corporation, club, or association

Section 27-19-8 Mandatory policy provisions - Notice of claim; notice of disability continuance.
There shall be a provision as follows: "Notice of Claim: Written notice of claim must
be given to the insurer within 20 days after the occurrence or commencement of any loss covered
by the policy, or as soon thereafter as is reasonably possible. Notice given by, or on behalf

Section 7-3-309 Enforcement of lost, destroyed, or stolen instrument. (a) A person not in possession
of an instrument is entitled to enforce the instrument if: (i) the person seeking to enforce
the instrument: (A) was entitled to enforce it when loss of possession occurred, or (B) has
directly or indirectly acquired ownership of the instrument from a person who was entitled
to enforce the instrument when the loss of possession occurred; and (ii) the loss of possession
was not the result of a transfer by the person or a lawful seizure; and (iii) the person cannot
reasonably obtain possession of the instrument because the instrument was destroyed, its whereabouts
cannot be determined, or it is in the wrongful possession of an unknown person or a person

Section 8-32-5 Required provisions, service contracts. (a) Service contracts sold or offered
for sale in this state, in their entirety, shall be written, printed, or typed in eight point
type size, or larger, and shall comply with the requirements set forth in this section, as
applicable. (b) Service contracts insured under a reimbursement insurance policy pursuant
to subdivision (1) of subsection (f) of Section 8-32-3 shall contain a statement in substantially
the following form: "Obligations of the provider under this service contract are guaranteed
under a service contract reimbursement insurance policy." If the provider fails to pay
or to provide service on a claim within 60 days after proof of loss has been filed, the service
