Section 27-15-8.1 Life insurance policy provisions - Maximum rates of interest on policy loans.
(a) For purposes of this section the "published monthly average" means: (1) The
Monthly Average of the Composite Yield on Seasoned Corporate Bonds as published by Moody's
Investors Service, Inc., or any successor thereto; or (2) In the event that the Monthly Average
of the Composite Yield on Seasoned Corporate Bonds is no longer published, a substantially
similar average, established by regulation issued by the commissioner. (b)(1) Policies issued
on or after May 15, 1981, shall provide for policy loan interest rates as follows: a. A provision
permitting a maximum interest rate of not more than eight percent per annum; or b. A provision
permitting an adjustable maximum interest rate established from time to time by the life insurer
as permitted by law. (2) The rate of interest charged on a policy loan made under subdivision
(1) of this subsection shall not exceed the higher of the following:...

Section 32-7A-6 Evidence of insurance; insurance card. (a) Every operator of a motor vehicle
subject to the provisions of Section 32-7A-4 shall carry within the vehicle evidence of insurance.
The evidence shall be legible and sufficient to demonstrate that the motor vehicle currently
is covered by an Alabama liability insurance policy or an Alabama commercial automobile liability

Section 27-25-3 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have
the following meanings: (1) ABSTRACT OF TITLE. A compilation or summary of all instruments
of public record of whatever kind or nature which in any manner affect title to a specified

Section 27-36A-2 Definitions. For purposes of this chapter, the following definitions shall
apply on or after the operative date of the valuation manual as defined by Section 27-36A-15:

Section 27-14-19.1 Electronic delivery of property or casualty insurance policy. (a) As used
in this section, each of the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) DELIVERED

Section 27-15-18 Annuity and pure endowment contract provisions - Incontestability. If any
statements, other than those relating to age, sex, and identity, are required as a condition
to issuing an annuity or pure endowment contract, other than a reversionary, survivorship,
or group annuity and subject to Section 27-15-20, there shall be a provision that the contract
shall be incontestable after it has been in force during the lifetime of the person, or of
each of the persons, as to whom such statements are required for a period of two years from
its date of issue, except for nonpayment of stipulated payments to the insurer; and at the

Section 27-21A-7 Evidence of coverage and charges for health care services. (a)(1) Every enrollee
residing in this state is entitled to an evidence of coverage. If the enrollee obtains such
coverage through an insurance policy or a contract issued by a health care service plan, the
insurer or the health care service plan shall issue the evidence of coverage. Otherwise, the
health maintenance organization shall issue the evidence of coverage. (2) No evidence of coverage,
or amendment thereto, shall be issued or delivered to any person in this state until a copy

Section 9-13-63 Record of purchases, etc., of manufactured or semimanufactured forest products;
provision of false information to purchasers, etc.; failure to maintain record, etc. Any person,
firm, or corporation buying, contracting to buy, or otherwise acquiring logs, poles, piling,
crossties, pulpwood, veneer bolts, stave bolts, or other unmanufactured or semimanufactured
forest products shall keep a written record in this state of every such purchase. The record
shall contain the name of the person or persons from whom the product was acquired, the county
from which the timber or other forest product was severed, the amount thereof and the date

Section 36-25-14 Filing of statement of economic interests. (a) A statement of economic interests
shall be completed and filed in accordance with this chapter with the commission no later
