Section 27-44-8 Powers and duties of association. (a) If a member insurer is an impaired insurer,
the association may, in its discretion and subject to any conditions imposed by the association
that do not impair the contractual obligations of the impaired insurer, and that are approved
by the commissioner: (1) Guarantee or reinsure, or cause to be guaranteed, assumed, or reinsured,
any or all of the covered policies of the impaired insurers. (2) Provide such moneys, pledges,
notes, guarantees, or other means as are proper to effectuate subdivision (1), and assure
payment of the contractual obligations of the impaired insurer pending action under subdivision

Section 44-1-10 Penalties; enforcement of chapter. (a) Violations of the provisions of this
chapter shall be penalized or punished as follows: (1) Any person, partnership, corporation
or association that violates the provisions of this chapter or any regulations promulgated
under the authority delegated to the youth services board or to the state youth services director,
after notice of such violation served upon such person, partnership, corporation or association
by United States registered or certified mail to the last known address thereof, shall be

Section 11-89A-15 Cooperation, aid, and agreements from and with other bodies. (a) For the
purpose of attaining the objectives of this chapter, any county, municipality, or other political
subdivision, public corporation, agency, or instrumentality of the state, a county or municipality

Section 27-12-10 Financial inducements to purchase insurance. (a) No person shall issue or
deliver, or permit its agents, officers, or employees to issue or deliver, agency company
stock or other capital stock, or benefit certificates or shares in any common-law corporation,
or securities, or any special or advisory board contract or other contract of any kind promising
returns and profits as an inducement to insurance. The commissioner shall refuse to issue

persons, firms, or corporations claimed by the injured person, or the legal representative
of the person, to be liable for damages arising from the injuries. The claimant shall also
within one day after the filing of the claim or lien, mail a copy thereof by registered or

Section 41-10-399 Confidentiality of data; inapplicability of public record laws; use of data
by authority; requirements for contractual agreements for supercomputer services. (a) The
privacy, security and confidentiality of data collected, stored, processed or disseminated

Section 45-37A-56.30 Operation or leasing of parking facilities. (a) As used in this section,
the word person means a natural person, a corporation, a partnership, or unincorporated association.
(b) It is hereby declared to be the public policy of this state, with respect to each parking
facility, that upon an authority's acquiring a parking facility the authority shall carefully
