Section 27-15-72 Nonforfeiture benefits. (a) In the case of policies issued on or after January 1, 1972, no policy of life insurance, except as set forth in Section 27-15-82, shall be delivered or issued for delivery in this state unless it shall contain in substance the following provisions, or corresponding provisions which, in the opinion of the commissioner, are at least as favorable to the defaulting or surrendering policyholder as are the minimum requirements specified in this section and are essentially in compliance with Section 27-15-81: (1) That, in the event of default in any premium payment, the insurer will grant, upon proper request not later than 60 days after the due date of the premium in default, a paid-up nonforfeiture benefit on a plan stipulated in the policy, effective as of such due date, of such amount as may be specified in this article. Section 16-25A-17 Partial funding of health insurance coverage for retired employees; method of determining amount; provisions supplemental. (a)(1) Any premiums paid to the Public Education Employees' Health Insurance Board for active employees shall include an amount to partially fund the cost of coverage for retired employees. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the plan becomes fully funded pursuant to this article, this section shall not apply. Section 11-92A-23 Special reserve funds and applications for appropriations. Section 45-37-123.106 Minimum distribution requirements. (a) General rules. (1) EFFECTIVE DATE. Except as otherwise provided herein, the provisions of this section shall apply for purposes of determining required minimum distributions for calendar years beginning on and after January 1, 1987.
