Section 32-7-35 Assigned risk plans. After consultation with insurance companies authorized
to issue automobile liability policies in this state, the Commissioner of Insurance shall
approve a reasonable plan or plans for the equitable apportionment among such companies of
applicants for such policies and for motor vehicle liability policies who are in good faith
entitled to but are unable to procure such policies through ordinary methods. When any such
plan has been approved, all such insurance companies shall subscribe thereto and participate
therein. Any applicant for any such policy, any person insured under any such plan and any
insurance company affected may appeal to the Commissioner of Insurance from any ruling or
decision of the manager or committee designated to operate such plan. Any person aggrieved
hereunder by any order or act of the Commissioner of Insurance may, within 10 days after notice
thereof, file a petition in the Circuit Court of Montgomery County, Alabama for a...

Section 33-1-25 Port authority authorized to carry fire and casualty and public liability insurance.
The Alabama State Port Authority is hereby authorized to provide insurance covering loss or
damage to its properties, or any properties of others in its custody, care or control, or
any properties as to which it has any insurable interest, caused by fire or other casualty;
and may likewise provide insurance for the payment of damages on account of the injury to
or death of persons, and the loss of or destruction of properties of others; and may pay the

bonds, etc.; death of a low bidder; effect of failure of awarding authorities to complete

(a) Should the successful bidder or bidders to whom a contract is awarded fail to execute
a contract and furnish acceptable contract securities and evidence of insurance as required
by law within the period as set forth in Section 39-2-8, the awarding authority shall retain
from the proposal guaranty, if it is a cashier's check, or recover from the principal or the
sureties, if the guaranty is a bid bond, the difference between the amount of the contract
as awarded and the amount of the proposal of the next lowest bidder. If no other bids are

offered for sale in this state unless the warrantor meets one of the conditions in subsection
(b) or (c) in order to ensure adequate performance under the warranty. No other financial

Section 16-25A-7 Authorization and execution of contracts; evidence of coverage; denial of
claims. (a) The board is hereby authorized to execute a contract or contracts to provide for
the benefits or the administration of the plan determined in accordance with the provisions
of this article. Such contract or contracts may be executed with one or more agencies or corporations
licensed to transact or administer group health insurance business in this state. All of the

Section 27-40-9 Service charges; prepayment of obligation. (a) For the purpose of this section,
"consumer insurance premium finance agreement" means an insurance premium finance
