Section 27-13-42 Notices, hearings, and orders by commissioner. The commissioner shall not make any order under the provisions of this article without giving every rating organization and insurer who may be affected thereby reasonable notice and a hearing, if hearing is requested. All hearings provided for in this article shall be held at such time and place as shall be designated in a notice which shall be given in writing by registered or certified mail to such rating organization and insurer, or the officers, agents, and representatives thereof, which may be affected thereby, at least 30 days before the date designated therein, which notice shall state the subject of the order. At the conclusion of such hearing, or within 30 days thereafter, the commissioner shall make such order, or orders, as he may deem necessary in accordance with his findings. Section 27-13-72 Application for uniform percentage increase or decrease in rates by insurers. (a) Any insurer may apply to the commissioner for permission to effect a uniform percentage increase or decrease in the rates applied to all kinds of a particular class in the state in a particular kind, or kinds, of insurance. Upon the filing of such application, the commissioner shall give notice thereof by registered or certified mail to the rating organization, if any, of which such insurer is a member or subscriber and shall fix a time and place for a hearing upon the merits of such application. (a) Every pesticide or device which is distributed, sold, or offered for sale within this state or delivered for transportation or transported in intrastate commerce or between points within this state through any point outside this state shall be registered with the commissioner upon application forms prescribed and furnished by the commissioner, and such registration or registrations shall be renewed during the registrant's renewal year, due January 1 of the renewal year.
