Section 11-65-1 Legislative declarations and findings. The Legislature hereby finds and declares
as follows: (1) As the basis for enacting Act No. 84-131, the Legislature found and determined
that the conduct within Class 1 municipalities in the state of horse racing events and pari-mutuel
wagering thereon will generate additional revenues for governmental and charitable purposes,
provide additional jobs for the residents of the state and benefit the businesses related
to tourism and recreation within any such municipality and throughout the surrounding areas
of the state; it is desirable to permit the qualified voters of any Class 1 municipality to
determine through referendum whether horse racing and pari-mutuel wagering thereon will be
permitted in such municipality; and for each Class 1 municipality in which horse racing is

Section 7-2-501 Insurable interest in goods; manner of identification of goods. (1) The buyer
obtains a special property and an insurable interest in goods by identification of existing
goods as goods to which the contract refers even though the goods so identified are nonconforming
and he has an option to return or reject them. Such identification can be made at any time
and in any manner explicitly agreed to by the parties. In the absence of explicit agreement

Section 7-2A-218 Insurance and proceeds. (1) A lessee obtains an insurable interest when existing
goods are identified to the lease contract even though the goods identified are nonconforming
and the lessee has an option to reject them. (2) If a lessee has an insurable interest only
by reason of the lessor's identification of the goods, the lessor, until the lessor's default
or insolvency or notification to the lessee that identification is final, may substitute other
goods for those identified. (3) Notwithstanding a lessee's insurable interest under subsections
(1) and (2), the lessor retains an insurable interest until an option to buy has been exercised
by the lessee and risk of loss has passed to the lessee. For this purpose the option to buy

Section 27-31D-1 Premium discount or insurance rate reduction - Construction and certification.
(a) Commencing on May 14, 2009, insurance companies shall provide a premium discount or insurance
rate reduction in an amount and manner as established in subsection (j) and pursuant to Section
27-31D-3. In addition, insurance companies may also offer additional adjustments in deductible,

Section 40-18-6 Gain or loss - Basis of property; adjusted basis. (a) Basis (unadjusted) of
property. The basis of property shall be the cost of the property with the following exceptions:
(1) INVENTORY VALUE. If the property should have been included in the last inventory, the
basis shall be the last inventory value thereof. (2) GIFT or TRANSFER IN TRUST. If the property
was acquired by gift or by a transfer in trust the basis shall be determined in accordance

Section 27-31E-3 Eligibility; use of grants; confidentiality. (a) To be eligible for a grant,
residential property owners applying for a grant must have an insurable property that has
been granted a homestead exemption and must be able to meet the eligibility requirements as
