Section 8-6-12 Registration of securities - Applicability of provisions of article; consent
to service of process on Secretary of State. (a) The provisions of this article shall apply
to persons who sell or offer to sell when (1) an offer to sell is made in this state, or (2)

Section 27-7-29 Nonresident agents or brokers - Service of process. (a) Each licensed nonresident
producer shall be considered to have performed acts equivalent to and constituting an appointment
of the commissioner as his or her attorney to receive service of legal process issued against
the nonresident producer in this state upon causes of action arising within this state out
of transactions under the nonresident producer's license. Service upon the commissioner as
such attorney shall constitute effective legal service upon the nonresident producer. (b)

on foreign or alien insurer. Any of the following acts in this state, effected by mail or

Section 32-7-21 Certificate furnished by nonresident as proof. (a) The nonresident owner of
a motor vehicle not registered in this state may give proof of financial responsibility by
filing with the director a written certificate or certificates of an insurance carrier authorized

Section 22-35-4 Alabama Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Trust Fund. There is hereby
created the Alabama Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Trust Fund, hereinafter referred
to as the "fund," to be administered by the Secretary-Treasurer of the Retirement
Systems of Alabama. The fund shall be used by the department as a revolving fund for carrying
out the purposes of this chapter. The fund is not an insurance company and the laws relating
