Section 30-3D-102 Definitions. In this chapter: (1) "Child" means an individual,
whether over or under the age of majority, who is or is alleged to be owed a duty of support
by the individual's parent or who is or is alleged to be the beneficiary of a support order
directed to the parent. (2) "Child-support order" means a support order for a child,
including a child who has attained the age of majority under the law of the issuing state
or foreign country. (3) "Convention" means the Convention on the International Recovery
of Child Support and Other Forms of Family Maintenance, concluded at The Hague on November
23, 2007. (4) "Duty of support" means an obligation imposed or imposable by law
to provide support for a child, spouse, or former spouse, including an unsatisfied obligation

Section 10A-2A-13.30 Court action. (a) If a stockholder makes demand for payment under
Section 10A-2A-13.26 which remains unsettled, the corporation shall commence a proceeding
within 60 days after receiving the payment demand and petition the court to determine the
fair value of the stock and accrued interest. If the corporation does not commence the proceeding
within the 60-day period, it shall pay in cash to each stockholder the amount the stockholder

Section 12-15-314 Dispositions for dependent children. (a) If a child is found to be
dependent, the juvenile court may make any of the following orders of disposition to protect
the welfare of the child: (1) Permit the child to remain with the parent, legal guardian,

Section 2-10-35 Dissolution of marketing or marketing and purchasing associations. (a)
Any cooperative marketing corporation or association or mutual cooperative marketing or purchasing
corporation or association organized under the laws of this state, may be dissolved in the
mode and manner following: (1) In any mode or manner now provided by law in this state for

Section 25-4-16 Wages. (a) Prior to January 1, 1983, "wages," as used in this
chapter, shall mean such remuneration as was defined in this section prior to such
date. (b) On and after January 1, 1983, "wages," as used in this chapter, shall

In any civil action with respect to prison conditions, no prisoner release order shall be

person may petition the court to order protective placement or other protective services for
an adult in need of protective services. No protective placement or other protective services
