Section 26-21-2 Definitions. For purposes of this chapter, the following definitions shall
apply: (1) MINOR. Any person under the age of 18 years; (2) EMANCIPATED MINOR. Any minor who
is or has been married or has by court order otherwise been legally freed from the care, custody,
and control of her parents; (3) ABORTION. The use or prescription of any instrument, medicine,
drug, or any other substance or device with the intent to terminate the pregnancy of a woman
known to be pregnant with knowledge that the termination by those means will with reasonable
likelihood cause the death of the unborn child. Such use or prescription is not an abortion
if done with the intent to save the life or preserve the health of an unborn child, remove
a dead unborn child, or to deliver the unborn child prematurely in order to preserve the health

Section 27-12-18 Statement of charges; hearing, order, and review thereon. (a) If the commissioner
believes that any person has been engaged, or is engaging, in this state in any unfair method
of competition or any unfair or deceptive act or practice expressly prohibited in this trade
practices law and that a proceeding by him in respect thereto would be to the interest of
the public, he shall issue and serve upon such person a statement of the charges in that respect
and a notice of a hearing thereon to be held at a time and place fixed in the notice, which
shall not be less than 10 days after the date of the service thereof. (b) At the hearing,

Section 30-2-40 Legal separation. (a) The court shall enter a decree of legal separation if
all of the following requirements are satisfied: (1) The court determines that the jurisdictional
requirements for the dissolution of a marriage have been met. (2) The court determines the
marriage is irretrievably broken or there exists a complete incompatibility of temperament
or one or both of the parties desires to live separate and apart. (3) To the extent that it
has jurisdiction to do so, the court has considered, approved, or provided for child custody,

Section 35-18-3 Actions affecting a conservation easement. (a) An action affecting a conservation
easement may be brought by any of the following: (1) An owner of an interest in the real property
burdened by the easement. (2) A holder of the easement. (3) A person having a third-party

Section 5-5A-39 Disposition of small deposits of deceased person - Time for payment; when payment
prohibited. No payment shall be made pursuant to Section 5-5A-38 by the bank before the lapse

Section 10A-1-6.01 Definitions. In this division: (1) "Delegate" means a person who
is serving or who has served as a representative of an enterprise at the request of that enterprise
at another enterprise. A person is a delegate to an employee benefit plan if the performance
