Section 26-2A-134 Notice. (a) On a petition for appointment of a conservator or other protective
order, the requirements for notice described in Section 26-2A-103 apply, but (i) if the person
to be protected has disappeared or is otherwise situated so as to make personal service of
notice impracticable, notice to the person must be given by publication as provided in Section
26-2A-50, and (ii) if the person to be protected is a minor, the provisions of Section 26-2A-75

Section 19-3B-704 Vacancy in trusteeship; appointment of successor. (a) A vacancy in a trusteeship
occurs if: (1) a person designated as trustee rejects the trusteeship; (2) a person designated

Section 26-2A-53 Request for notice; interested person. Upon payment of any required fee, an
interested person who desires to be notified before any order is made in a guardianship proceeding,
including any proceeding subsequent to the appointment of a guardian under Section 26-2A-111,
or in a protective proceeding under Section 26-2A-130, may file a request for notice with
the clerk of the court in which the proceeding is pending. The clerk shall mail a copy of

good faith, either assists a personal representative or deals with the personal representative
for value is protected as if the personal representative properly exercised the power. The
