Section 27-12-21 Proceedings on unfair competition, etc., not defined under chapter - Generally.
(a) Whenever the commissioner has reason to believe that any person engaged in the business
of insurance is engaging in this state in any method of competition, or in any act or practice
in the conduct of such business which is not defined in this trade practices law, that such
method of competition is unfair or that such act or practice is unfair or deceptive and that
a proceeding by him in respect thereto would be to the interest of the public, he may issue
and serve such person a statement of the charges in that respect and a notice of a hearing
thereon to be held at a time and place fixed in the notice, which shall not be less than 10
days after the date of the service thereof. Each such hearing shall be conducted in the same

Section 30-3-6 Bond, security, or other guarantee to secure payment of overdue support or compliance
with visitation order. (a) As used in this section, the following terms shall have the following
meanings: (1) SUPPORT. Support of any child, with respect to whom a support order exists,
and support of a spouse or former spouse with respect to whom a support order exists where
incidental to an order of child support as required by Title IV-D of the Social Security Act.

Section 34-30-5 Disciplinary proceedings - Procedure. The following procedure will apply to
revocation and suspension hearings and to judicial review of these hearings: (1) Hearings

a benefit claimed may be subject to review by the circuit court, in the manner and subject

Section 23-4-20 Vacation of street or alley. (a) Subject to the conditions set out in this
subsection, any street or alley may be vacated, in whole or in part, by the owner or owners
of the land abutting the street or alley or abutting that portion of the street or alley desired

Section 30-2-56 Interim alimony. (a)(1) In an action for divorce, legal separation, or annulment,
the court may award either spouse interim alimony based upon a showing of all of the following:
a. The spouse maintains the validity of the marriage. b. The spouse needs interim alimony,
after taking into consideration any other financial contributions provided by the other spouse
pursuant to other interim orders of the court. c. The other spouse has the ability to pay

Section 34-27-36 Disciplinary action - Generally. (a) The commission or its staff may on its
own, or on the verified complaint in writing of any person, investigate the actions and records
of a licensee. The commission may issue subpoenas and compel the testimony of witnesses and
the production of records and documents during an investigation. If probable cause is found,
a formal complaint shall be filed and the commission shall hold a hearing on the formal complaint.

Section 38-9-5 Emergency protective services. When there is brought to the attention of a county
department of human resources a person who is unable, because of physical or mental disabilities,
to provide for his basic needs for shelter, food, clothing or health care, and whose health
or safety is in immediate danger, the department may arrange for protective services with
