Section 9-16-95 Citizens' actions; attorneys, etc., fees allowed as damages. (a) Except
as provided in subsection (b) of this section, any person having an interest which
is or may be adversely affected, (or any citizen of this state having knowledge that any of

Section 18-4-16 Expenses incurred from condemnation proceedings. Where a condemnation
proceeding is instituted by a state agency to acquire real property and the final judgment
is that the real property cannot be acquired by condemnation, and the proceeding is abandoned,
the owner of any right, title, or interest in real property shall be paid a sum that shall,
in the opinion of the court, reimburse the owner for his or her reasonable costs, disbursements,
and expenses including reasonable attorney, appraisal, and engineering fees, actually incurred

Section 35-8A-316 Lien for assessments. (a) The association has a lien on a unit for
any assessment and any other moneys due the association for special assessments or services
or charges, such as water or repairs, levied against that unit or fines imposed against its
unit owner from the time the assessment or fine becomes due. The association's lien may be
foreclosed in like manner as a mortgage on real estate provided the declaration is in conformity
with Article 1A of Chapter 10 of this title and subject to the rights under Article 14A of
Chapter 5 of Title 6. The association shall send reasonable advance notice of its proposed
action to the unit owner and all lienholders of record of the unit. Unless the declaration
otherwise provides, fees, charges, late charges, fines, and interest charged pursuant to Section

Section 38-9F-8 Ex parte relief. (a) If it appears from a petition for an elder abuse
protection order or a petition to modify an elder abuse protection order that elder abuse
has occurred or a modification is warranted, the court may do either of the following: (1)

Legislature, in joint convention assembled, and presided over by the Speaker of the House
of Representatives, shall constitute the tribunal for the trial of all contests for the office

Section 45-39-40.26 Decisions of board; appeals. (a) Findings made by the board are
deemed conclusive, unless within 30 days after notice of the decision of the board has been
given an aggrieved party, the aggrieved person shall appeal the finding or ruling to the circuit
court of the county of his or her residence or to the Circuit Court of Lauderdale County.
In the event of such appeal, the circuit court shall hear the same de novo. The appeal shall
be taken by the filing with the board of a letter stating the aggrieved person's desire to

Section 10A-8A-7.01 Purchase of transferable interest of a person dissociated as a partner.
(a) If a person is dissociated as a partner from a partnership without resulting in a dissolution
and winding up of the partnership business or not for profit activity under Section
10A-8A-8.01, the partnership shall cause that person's transferable interest in the partnership
owned by that person at the time of dissociation to be purchased for a buyout price determined
pursuant to subsection (b). (b) The buyout price of the transferable interest owned by the
person at the time of dissociation as a partner is an amount equal to the fair value of that
person's transferable interest as of the date of dissociation. Interest on the buyout price

Section 13A-11-61.3 Regulation of firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories. (a)
The purpose of this section is to establish within the Legislature complete control
over regulation and policy pertaining to firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories in
order to ensure that such regulation and policy is applied uniformly throughout this state
to each person subject to the state's jurisdiction and to ensure protection of the right to
keep and bear arms recognized by the Constitutions of the State of Alabama and the United

quiet title action under this section to quiet title to real property held by the authority
or interests in tax delinquent property held by the authority by recording with the office
