Section 30-3-170 Definitions. When used in this article, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) COURT. A court of competent jurisdiction or administrative agency having the authority to issue and enforce support orders. (2) DELINQUENT or DELINQUENCY. A support debt or support obligation due and unpaid in an amount equal to or greater than six months support payments as of the date of service of a notice of intent to suspend or revoke a license. (3) DEPARTMENT. The Alabama Department of Human Resources, including the county departments of human resources. (4) LICENSE. Any license, certificate, registration, or authorization issued by a licensing authority which grants a person a right or privilege to engage in an occupational, professional, sporting, or recreational activity, or to operate a motor vehicle. Section 26-16-93 State Child Death Review Team - Created. (a) There is hereby created the State Child Death Review Team, referred to in this article as the state team. (b) The state team shall be situated within the Alabama Department of Public Health for administrative and budgetary purposes. (c) The state team shall be a multidisciplinary, multiagency review team, composed of 28 members, the first 7 of whom are ex officio. Section 30-3-6 Bond, security, or other guarantee to secure payment of overdue support or compliance with visitation order. (a) As used in this section, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) SUPPORT. Section 30-3C-6 Contents of petition. A petition under this chapter must be verified and include a copy of any existing child-custody determination, if available. If a child-custody determination is not available, the petition must state the petitioner's right to make a petition, as described under subsection (b) of Section 30-3C-4, and provide the basis for that right to make a petition under this chapter. Section 26-17-621 Admissibility of results of genetic testing; expenses. (a) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (c), a record of a genetic-testing expert is admissible as evidence of the truth of the facts asserted in the report unless a party objects in writing to its admission within 14 days after its receipt by the objecting party and cites specific grounds for exclusion. The admissibility of the report is not affected by whether the testing was performed: (1) voluntarily or pursuant to an order of the court or the Alabama Department of Human Resources; or (2) before or after the commencement of the proceeding. (b) A party objecting to the results of genetic testing may call one or more genetic-testing experts to testify in person or by another method approved by the court. (2) Violating lawfully adopted policies pursuant to this chapter.
