Section 8-20-4 Unfair and deceptive trade practices. Notwithstanding the terms, provisions,
or conditions of any dealer agreement or franchise or the terms or provisions of any waiver,
prior to the termination, cancellation, or nonrenewal of any dealer agreement or franchise,
the following acts or conduct shall constitute unfair and deceptive trade practices: (1) For
any manufacturer, factory branch, factory representative, distributor, or wholesaler, distributor
branch, or distributor representative to coerce or attempt to coerce any motor vehicle dealer
to do any of the following: a. To accept, buy, or order any motor vehicle or vehicles, appliances,

Section 25-4-10 Employment. (a) Subject to other provisions of this chapter, "employment"
means: (1) Any service performed prior to January 1, 1978, which was employment as defined
in this section prior to such date and, subject to the other provisions of this section,
services performed for remuneration after December 31, 1977, including service in interstate

Section 22-22B-4 Program for management and marketing of recyclable materials; contracts
authorized. State agencies and public school systems are hereby authorized to enter into contracts
of three years or less duration with private and nonprofit organizations for the purpose of
managing recyclable materials, subject to the approval of the surplus property division of
the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs. Recyclable materials produced by
state agencies and public school systems may be sold to public purchasers or may be donated
to nonprofit organizations as long as the materials are substantially recycled. Sales and
donations of recyclable materials shall be conducted through or approved by the surplus property

Section 22-50-61 Authority to receive data for research. (a) The Commissioner of Mental
Health, or his or her authorized agent, is hereby authorized to receive data from private
or public agencies or agents for the purpose of research and study in mental health. All data
received shall be used by the commissioner or persons designated by him for research and study
and for program planning. No criminal or civil action may be brought against any person or
