Section 34-2A-3 Board of Examiners of Assisted Living Administrators. (a) There is created a Board of Examiners of Assisted Living Administrators composed of nine members, seven members as set out in this subsection, and two additional consumer members as set out in subsection (b). The membership of the board shall be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural, and economic diversity of the state. The seven original members shall be composed as follows: Five members shall be assisted living administrators duly licensed and registered under this chapter; one member shall be a physician licensed under the laws of the state; and one shall be a licensed nursing home administrator who in the same or contiguous facility manages assisted living beds. Section 34-9-6.1 Mobile dental facilities or portable dental operations. (a) For purposes of this section, the following words have the following meanings: (1) DENTAL HOME. The dental home is the ongoing relationship between the dentist and the patient, inclusive of all aspects of oral health care, delivered in a comprehensive, continuously accessible, coordinated, and family-centered way. (2) MOBILE DENTAL FACILITY. Any self-contained facility in which dentistry or dental hygiene is practiced which may be moved, towed, or transported from one location to another. (3) OPERATOR. A person licensed to practice dentistry in this state or an entity which is approved as tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code which employs dentists licensed in the state to operate a mobile dental facility or portable dental operation. Section 34-9-7 Exemption of certain practices and operations. (a) Nothing in this chapter shall apply to the following practices, acts, and operations: (1) The practice of his or her profession by a physician or surgeon holding a certificate of qualification as a medical doctor and licensed as such under the laws of this state, provided he or she shall not practice dentistry as a specialty. (a) If the juvenile court finds on proof beyond a reasonable doubt, based upon competent, material, and relevant evidence, that a child committed the acts by reason of which the child is alleged to be delinquent or in need of supervision, it may proceed immediately to hear evidence as to whether the child is in need of care or rehabilitation and to file its findings thereon.
