Section 34-8-20 Creation; composition; appointment and removal of members. In order
to safeguard life, health, and property and to promote the general public welfare by requiring
that only properly qualified persons be permitted to engage in general contracting, there
shall be a State Licensing Board for General Contractors, consisting of five members, who
shall be citizens of this state and appointed by the Governor. Each of the members shall be
a general contractor, within the meaning of this chapter, with at least 10 years' experience

Section 41-9-335 Created; composition; powers and duties. (a) A board of trustees to
be known as the St. Stephens Historical Commission is hereby authorized to be appointed and
established for the purpose of acquiring, maintaining, protecting, and promoting certain properties
of historical interest at St. Stephens, in Washington County, in the general vicinity of the

meanings for the drug court program: (1) DRUG COURT TEAM. A diverse group of persons consisting

Section 9-17-101 Liquefied Petroleum Gas Board - Creation; composition; meetings; rules
and regulations. (a) There is created and established the Alabama Liquefied Petroleum Gas

The role of the pension board is established by the State of Alabama through legislative act.
The pension board is responsible for the general administration and proper operation of the
