Section 2-4-1 Appointment of State Veterinarian; qualifications; compensation and powers and duties. The State Veterinarian of Alabama shall be appointed by the Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries, the Governor of Alabama, and the President of the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association, or majority of them, from the list of qualified applicants who have passed the official examination and who have been certified to the aforesaid appointing authorities by the State Personnel Department. The boards of censors of county medical societies in affiliation with the Medical Association of the State of Alabama and organized in accordance with the provisions of its constitution, as it now or may hereafter exist, are constituted county boards of health of their respective counties, including all incorporated municipalities therein, but shall be under the general supervision and control of the State Board of Health. Section 34-5-13 Board of Barber Examiners. There is hereby created the Alabama Board of Barber Examiners, to consist of five persons. Such board shall be appointed by the Governor of the State of Alabama, one person appointed for the term of one year, one person for a term of two years, one person for a term of three years, one person for a term of four years, and one person for a term of five years and until their successors are appointed and qualified.
