Section 22-30E-3 Definitions. Unless otherwise defined in this chapter, the definition of all terms included in Section 22-30-3 shall be applicable to this chapter. Other definitions as necessary may be promulgated as regulations by the department for further implementation of this chapter. Also, as used in this chapter, the following words and terms have the following meanings: (1) ALABAMA LAND RECYCLING AND ECONOMIC REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION. That commission which is created in Section 22-30E-12. (2) APPLICANT. An owner or operator or prospective purchaser of a qualifying property seeking to participate in the voluntary cleanup program established pursuant to this chapter. (3) CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE. A statement prepared by a professional engineer or geologist licensed to practice in the State of Alabama which certifies compliance with a voluntary cleanup plan required by Section 22-30E-9. Section 34-9-18 Grounds for disciplinary action. (a) The board may invoke disciplinary action as outlined in subsection (b) whenever it shall be established to the satisfaction of the board, after a hearing as hereinafter provided, that any dentist or dental hygienist has been guilty of the following: (1) Fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation in obtaining any license, license certificate, annual registration certificate, money, or other thing of value. Section 38-4-14 Limitations on use of public assistance benefits. (a) For the purposes of this section, the term public assistance benefits means money or property provided directly or indirectly to eligible persons through programs of the federal government, the state, or any political subdivision thereof, and administered by the Alabama Department of Human Resources. (b)(1) A recipient of public assistance benefits may not use any portion of the benefits for the purchase of any alcoholic beverage, tobacco product, or lottery ticket. Section 14-9-41 Computation of incentive time deductions. Section 45-27A-30.09 Written agreement; other terms and conditions. (a) In any case in which an offender is admitted into the program, there shall be a written agreement between the municipal prosecutor and the offender. The agreement shall include the terms of the pretrial diversion program, the length of the program, and the period of time after which the municipal prosecutor shall proceed to dispose of the charges against the offender or what charges the offender will plead guilty to and the recommended disposition of the matter.
