Section 11-65-4 Elections required to approve incorporation of commission and conduct of racing
and pari-mutuel wagering thereon. (a) No commission shall be incorporated for a Class 1 municipality
and no horse racing or greyhound racing or pari-mutuel wagering thereon shall be permitted
in such municipality pursuant to this chapter unless the incorporation of such commission,
together with the conduct of horse racing and pari-mutuel wagering thereon or greyhound racing
and pari-mutuel wagering thereon or both such activities, shall have been authorized by an
election held in the host county in which such incorporation and such racing and wagering
activities shall have been approved by both (i) a majority of the votes cast in such election
by voters who reside in the host county (including those voters who reside in the sponsoring

Section 12-15-314 Dispositions for dependent children. (a) If a child is found to be dependent,
the juvenile court may make any of the following orders of disposition to protect the welfare
of the child: (1) Permit the child to remain with the parent, legal guardian, or other legal

in order to qualify for the workers' compensation insurance premium discounts provided under

Section 15-18-179 Application for incorporation; certificate of incorporation; amendment; board
of directors; dissolution; funding; competitive bidding laws not applicable. (a) A public
corporation may be organized as a community punishment and corrections authority pursuant
to this article in any county or group of counties located in one or more judicial circuits.
In order to incorporate the public corporation, any number of natural persons, not less than
three, who are duly qualified electors of a proposed county or counties shall first file a

Section 34-21-129 Effective date; withdrawal or termination; amendments. (a) This compact shall
become effective and binding on the earlier of the date of legislative enactment of this compact
into law by not less than 26 states or December 31, 2019. All party states that also participated
in the prior Nurse Licensure Compact, which is superseded by this compact, shall be deemed
to have withdrawn from the Nurse Licensure Compact on the first day of the sixth month after

Section 10A-2A-14.06 Known claims against dissolved corporation. (a) A dissolved corporation
may dispose of any known claims against it by following the procedures described in subsection
(b) at any time after the effective date of the dissolution of the corporation. (b) A dissolved
corporation may give written notice of the dissolution to the holder of any known claim. The
notice must: (1) identify the dissolved corporation; (2) describe the information required
to be included in a claim; (3) provide a mailing address to which the claim is to be sent;
(4) state the deadline, which may not be fewer than 120 days from the effective date of the
notice, by which the dissolved corporation must receive the claim; and (5) state that if not
sooner barred, the claim will be barred if not received by the deadline. (c) Unless sooner
