Section 25-4-78 Disqualifications for benefits. An individual shall be disqualified for total or partial unemployment for any of the following: (1) LABOR DISPUTE IN PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT. For any week in which an individual's total or partial unemployment is directly due to a labor dispute still in active progress in the establishment in which he or she is or was last employed. A written agreement between the prospective kinship guardian entering into the program and the department shall precede the award of a kinship guardianship. Section 26-10B-7 Medical assistance; applicability. (a) A child with special needs residing in this state who is the subject of an adoption assistance agreement with another state shall be entitled to receive a medical assistance identification from this state upon the filing in the Medicaid office of a certified copy of the adoption assistance agreement obtained from the adoption assistance state. The adoptive parents shall be required at least annually to show that the agreement is still in force or has been renewed. (b) The terms of the compact entered into by the department and addressed in this statute will apply to children who are the subject of a federal adoption assistance agreement.
