Section 27-31A-3.1 Risk retention groups to comply with governance standards. (a) By January 1, 2016, existing risk retention groups shall be in compliance with the governance standards set forth in this section. New risk retention groups shall be in compliance with these standards at the time of licensure. (b) The board of directors or board, as used in this section, means the governing body of the risk retention group elected by the shareholders or members to establish policy, elect or appoint officers and committees, and make other governing decisions. Director, as used in this section, means a natural person designated in the articles of the risk retention group, or designated, elected, or appointed by any other manner, name, or title to act as a member of the board of directors. (c)(1) The board of directors of the risk retention group shall have a majority of independent directors. Section 41-29-341 Definitions. As used in this division, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) APPRENTICE. A worker at least 14 years of age, except where a higher minimum age standard is otherwise fixed by law, who is employed to learn an apprenticeable occupation. (2) APPRENTICEABLE OCCUPATION. As defined in 29 C.F.R. §29.4. (3) APPRENTICESHIP AGREEMENT. Section 45-37-121.19 Dismissals, demotions, suspensions, and appeals. (a) An appointing authority may dismiss or demote an employee holding permanent status for just cause whenever he or she considers the good of the service will be served thereby, for reason stated in writing, served on the affected employee, and a copy furnished to the director, which action shall become a public record. (a) A secondary metals recycler shall maintain a legible record of all purchase transactions of ferrous or nonferrous metals to which the secondary metals recycler is a party. The record shall include all of the following information: (1) The name and address of the secondary metals recycler. (2) The name or identification of the employee responsible for making the purchase on behalf of the secondary metals recycler. (3) The date and time of the transaction. (a) Any competent adult may execute a living will directing the providing, withholding, or withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment and artificially provided nutrition and hydration.
