Section 41-8-21 Enactment of compact; form. The Interstate Library Compact is hereby enacted
into law and entered into by this state with all states legally joining therein in the form
substantially as follows: INTERSTATE LIBRARY COMPACT. Article I. Policy and Purpose. Because
the desire for the services provided by libraries transcends governmental boundaries and can
most effectively be satisfied by giving such services to communities and people regardless
of jurisdictional lines, it is the policy of the states party to this compact to cooperate
and share their responsibilities; to authorize cooperation and sharing with respect to those
types of library facilities and services which can be more economically or efficiently developed
and maintained on a cooperative basis and to authorize cooperation and sharing among localities,

Section 34-13-56 Grounds for revocation, suspension, or refusal to issue or renew licenses,
etc.; hearing; fines. (a) The board may refuse to license any person or establishment for
violation of this chapter. If the board refuses to issue, grant, or renew a license based
on a violation of this chapter, including, but not limited to, violations listed in subsection
(c), the licensee or prospective licensee may request a public hearing before the board to
appeal the action of the board. The request for a public hearing shall be submitted to the
board in writing within 14 calendar days after the date of the refusal. Upon request, the
board shall provide the licensee or prospective licensee with 20 days' notice of the public

Section 34-9-18 Grounds for disciplinary action. (a) The board may invoke disciplinary action
as outlined in subsection (b) whenever it shall be established to the satisfaction of the
board, after a hearing as hereinafter provided, that any dentist or dental hygienist has been
guilty of the following: (1) Fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation in obtaining any license,
license certificate, annual registration certificate, money, or other thing of value. (2)
Gross immorality. (3) Is a menace to the public health or to patients or others by reason

Section 8-6-2 Definitions. When used in this article, unless the context otherwise requires,
the following terms shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section:
