Section 27-15-28.1 Standard nonforfeiture law for individual deferred annuities - Annuity contracts
issued by election under this section until June 30, 2006. (a) This section shall be known
as the standard nonforfeiture law for individual deferred annuities. (b) This section shall
not apply to any reinsurance group annuity purchased under a retirement plan or plan of deferred
compensation established or maintained by an employer (including a partnership or sole proprietorship)
or by an employee organization, or by both, other than a plan providing individual retirement

Section 45-37-123.100 Retirement benefits. (a) Superannuation retirement benefit. (1) ELIGIBILITY.
A member shall be eligible for a superannuation retirement benefit if: a. The member has 30
or more years of paid membership time, regardless of age; b. The member has 10 or more years
of paid membership time and has attained the age of 60; or c. The member has 30 years of service,
20 years of which are paid membership time, and has attained the age of 55. (2) CALCULATION
OF BENEFIT. If a member meets the foregoing eligibility criteria, then the member shall be

with reference to personal insurance is an interest based upon a reasonable expectation of
pecuniary advantage through the continued life, health, or bodily safety of another person

Section 6-10-7 Wages, salaries, or other compensation of laborers or employees for personal
services. (a) The wages, salaries, or other compensation of laborers or employees, residents
of this state, for personal services, shall be exempt from levy under writs of garnishment
or other process for the collection of debts contracted or judgments entered in tort in an
amount equal to 75 percent of such wages, salaries, or other compensation due or to become

Section 16-33B-4 Basic powers and duties of the Alabama Commission on Higher Education for
the Alabama Guaranteed Student Loan Program. (a) Basic powers. The Alabama Commission on Higher

Section 25-4-72 Individual weekly benefit amount. (a) For weeks of unemployment during benefit
years which begin before the effective date of subsection (b), an individual's weekly benefit
amount shall be as prescribed by this section as amended through July 6, 1997. (b) For weeks
