Section 15-22-37 Rulemaking authority. (a) The Board of Pardons and Paroles may adopt rules, not inconsistent with the provisions of this article, touching upon all matters dealt with in this article, including, among others, practice and procedure in matters pertaining to paroles, pardons, and remission of fines and forfeitures; provided, however, that no rule adopted by the board shall have the effect of denying to any person whose application for parole or the revocation of whose parole is being considered by the board from having the benefit of counsel or witnesses upon the hearing. (b) The Board of Pardons and Paroles shall adopt rules to do the following: (1) Establish a program of limited supervision for parolees who qualify addressing eligibility using validated risk and needs assessments, as defined in Section 12-25-32, transfers among levels of supervision, to include guidelines for the transfer of lower-risk individuals to an administrative form of parole, and reporting...

Section 22-30E-3 Definitions. Unless otherwise defined in this chapter, the definition of all terms included in Section 22-30-3 shall be applicable to this chapter. Other definitions as necessary may be promulgated as regulations by the department for further implementation of this chapter. Section 8-37-3 (Effective January 1, 2018) GAP waivers authorized; charges; insurance; creditor requirements. (a) GAP waivers may be offered, sold, or provided to borrowers in this state under this chapter. Section 16-25-11.4 Purchase of credit for prior service rendered as full-time employee in office of clerk of circuit court or with Alabama State Employees Association. (a) Any acting and contributing member of the Teachers' Retirement System of Alabama may elect to purchase credit for prior service rendered as a full-time employee in the office of a clerk of the circuit court in the State of Alabama or as a full-time employee with the Alabama State Employees Association provided the member complies with the following conditions prescribed in this section. Section 22-30E-4 Authority of the department to establish rules and regulations. (a) The department, acting through the commission, may adopt, promulgate, modify, amend, and repeal rules and regulations to implement and enforce this chapter as necessary to provide for the voluntary assessment, cleanup, reuse, and redevelopment of qualifying properties.
