Section 11-91A-7 Jurisdiction of board; funding; powers of board. The board shall have full, complete, and exclusive jurisdiction over the program and shall allocate funds from its treasury for the fulfillment and accomplishment of its duties and responsibilities in a manner as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the purposes of this chapter. The board shall have the general powers and authority granted under the laws of this state for health insurers, and in addition thereto, the specific authority to do all of the following: (a) Subject to compliance with Section 11-91A-8 where applicable, execute a contract or contracts to provide for the administration of the program in accordance with this chapter. Section 21-3A-4 Composition; appointment and duties of members. (a) For the purposes of implementing this chapter, the Governor shall appoint the Interagency Coordinating Council. The council shall consist of not less than 15 members nor more than the number allowed by regulation. Section 34-37-4 Meetings, compensation, and expenses of board. (a) The board shall meet when necessary for the proper performance of its duties, but in no case less than once a year. Section 25-4-40.1 Employment Security Enhancement Fund. (a) Retroactive to April 1, 1992, there is hereby placed upon all wages so defined in Section 25-4-16, paid to employees by employers subject to pay contributions as provided in Sections 25-4-51 and 25-4-54, except as is hereinafter provided in this section, a special assessment of 0.06 percent (six one-hundredths of one percent) of such wages.
