Section 45-49A-81.10 Pension eligibility for certain employees - 20 years of service. (a) Any
employee of the City of Prichard, except as herein otherwise provided, who has been in the
service of the city for as long as 20 years, the last four years of which, counting a major
fraction of a year as a full year, have been continuous, and who is then employed by the city,
upon his or her making application to the city council of the city, shall be retired from
service as an employee without medical examination or disability. Any employee who has been

Section 9-6-8 Powers and duties generally. The authority shall have the following powers, together
with all powers incidental thereto or necessary to the discharge thereof in corporate form:

Section 36-27-23 Board of Control; medical board, actuary. (a) The general administration and
responsibility for the proper operation of the retirement system and for making effective
the provisions of this article are hereby vested in a board of trustees which shall be known

Section 34-5-13 Board of Barber Examiners. There is hereby created the Alabama Board of Barber
Examiners, to consist of five persons. Such board shall be appointed by the Governor of the
State of Alabama, one person appointed for the term of one year, one person for a term of

Section 36-27-24 Funds for assets of retirement system - Creation; composition; disposition

Section 25-4-75 Extension of benefit period. (a) Applicability of section. Notwithstanding
any other provisions of this chapter, the duration of benefits as provided in Section 25-4-74
