Section 40-2A-4 Taxpayers' bill of rights. (a) Rights of the taxpayer. (1) For purposes of
this subsection and subsections (c) and (d), the term "department" shall include
the Department of Revenue, a self-administered county or municipality, or a private examining
or collecting firm, depending on whether the Department of Revenue, a self-administered county

Section 41-29-335 Alabama Apprenticeship Council. (a) The Alabama Apprenticeship Council, which
shall be composed of public and private persons representing employer and employee organizations

Section 45-37-121.01 Personnel board - Extent of authority. In and for each separate county
of the State of Alabama which has a population of 400,000 or more people according to the
last or any future federal census, there shall be a personnel board for the government and
control by rules and regulations and practices hereinafter set out or authorized of all employees

Section 9-7-10 Definitions. The following terms, whenever used in this chapter shall have the
following respective meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) COASTAL
AREA. The coastal waters, including the lands therein and thereunder, and the adjacent shorelands,

wages. (a) Community punishment and corrections funds may be used to develop or expand the
range of community punishments and services at the local level. Community-based programs should
