not extinguished. (a) It shall be the duty of every common carrier of passengers by motor vehicle
to establish and provide safe and adequate service, equipment and facilities for the intrastate
transportation of passengers in the State of Alabama; to establish, observe and enforce just
and reasonable individual and joint rates, fares and charges and just and reasonable regulations
and practices resulting thereto, and to the issuance, form and substance of tickets and the
carrying of personal sample and excess baggage, the facilities for the transportation,
and all other matters relating to or connected with the intrastate transportation of passengers
in the State of Alabama; and, in case of such joint rates, fares and charges, to establish
just, reasonable and equitable divisions thereof as between the carriers participating therein,

electric customer shall obtain electric service under a private contract for electric service
without first giving written notice to the utility currently providing it retail electric
service at least 45 days prior to the date on which the private contract for electric service

Section 27-44-8 Powers and duties of association. (a) If a member insurer is an impaired insurer,
the association may, in its discretion and subject to any conditions imposed by the association

Section 45-49A-63.194 Appeals from board decisions. (a) Within 10 days after any final decision
of the board, the city or any person aggrieved at the decision of the board may appeal the
decision to the Circuit Court of Mobile County by filing a notice and request for an appeal
with the clerk of the circuit court and serving notice of the appeal upon any member of the
