Section 22-22-9 Powers and duties; enforcement of orders; permits; civil penalties for violations. (a) The membership of the retirement system shall be composed as follows: (1) All persons who shall become employees after October 1, 1945, shall become members of the retirement system as a condition of their employment. Section 30-3C-9 Hearing on petition to prevent abduction. (a) If a petition is filed under this chapter, the court may set a preliminary hearing as necessary, and shall cause to be issued all summonses and notices as required by law and otherwise deemed necessary and appropriate.
