Section 36-29-7 Payment of employer's contribution; coverage for dependents; changes to contributions; withholding of employee's contribution; State Employees' Insurance Fund. (a) The board is hereby authorized to provide under the provisions of this chapter that the employer's contribution to the cost of such plan for coverage of the employee and retiree shall be paid by the employer. (b) Each employee and retiree shall be entitled to have his or her spouse and dependent children, as defined by the rules and regulations of the board, included in the coverage provided upon agreeing to pay the employee's contribution of the health insurance premium for such dependents. The board shall adopt regulations governing the discontinuance and resumption by such employees and retirees of coverage for dependents. After January 16, 1977, each district judge who comes under the provisions of Article 1 of this chapter by election or by operation of law shall contribute to the Judicial Retirement Fund annually, payable in equal monthly installments, four and one-half percent of his annual compensation paid by the State of Alabama; provided, that after February 1, 1977, the rate of contribution to be paid by such judge shall be six percent of his salary derived from the State of Alabama, but such increased rate of contribution shall not be effective until February 1, 1977. Section 25-8-32.2 Child Labor Administrative Trust Fund. (a) The Child Labor Administrative Trust Fund is established in the State Treasury into which shall be deposited certain assessments under this chapter collected by the department. Section 33-5A-9 Alabama Abandoned and Derelict Vessel Fund. (a) There is established a special fund within the State Treasury to be known as the Alabama Abandoned and Derelict Vessel Fund.
