Section 25-4-147 Arrest fee; disposition of fees collected. In all cases where arrests are made by any of said unemployment insurance fraud investigators or other supervisors charged with the direct enforcement of the fraud provisions of the law, as designated in writing by the secretary of the department, designated by Section 25-4-146 as peace officers, an arrest fee of $5.00 for an arrest resulting in a conviction shall be collected by the proper authorities and promptly turned over to the Secretary of Labor, who shall pay the same into the State Treasury to the credit of the Department of Labor's unemployment compensation agency's interest and penalty fund.
