Section 16-18-1 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases
shall have the following respective meanings: (1) ANCILLARY IMPROVEMENTS. Educational and
related facilities of every kind including, but without limitation to, classrooms, scientific
and other laboratories, libraries, auditoriums, gymnasiums, cafeterias, dining rooms, dormitories,
student and faculty apartments, student union buildings, recreational and social facilities,
student and faculty infirmaries and clinics and facilities for washing, laundering and cleaning
clothing and fabrics of every kind, or any combination of any thereof, and shall also include
equipment and furniture and fixtures used or useful in educational and related facilities
of every kind. Nothing herein shall be construed as authorizing the construction of buildings

Section 2-6-70 Definitions. As used in this article, the following words shall have the following
meanings unless the context clearly requires otherwise: (1) AGRICULTURAL CENTER BOARD. The
board of that name established pursuant to Article 2 of this chapter. (2) AGRICULTURAL FUND.

Section 25-4-32 Requisition of moneys from trust fund. (a) Money shall be requisitioned from
the state's account in the Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund solely for the payment of
benefits and in accordance with regulations prescribed by the secretary; except, that money
credited to this state's account pursuant to Section 903 of the Social Security Act, as amended,
shall be used exclusively as provided in this section. The secretary shall from time to time
requisition from the Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund such amounts, not exceeding the
amounts standing to this state's account therein, as he deems necessary for the payment of
benefits for a reasonable future period. Upon receipt thereof the treasurer of the fund shall
deposit such moneys in the benefit payment account and shall issue his checks for the payment

Section 11-44D-4 Mayor-council form of government. If a majority of the qualified electors
voting in the referendum provided herein choose a mayor-council form of government, the following
provisions of this chapter shall be applicable: (1) The municipality shall thereafter and

Section 45-4-244.20 County sales tax to parallel state tax; exemptions; collection and disposition

Section 16-33B-4 Basic powers and duties of the Alabama Commission on Higher Education for
the Alabama Guaranteed Student Loan Program. (a) Basic powers. The Alabama Commission on Higher

Section 40-14A-26 Remittance and disposition of tax. The tax levied by this article shall be
due at the same time the return is due. Remittance of the tax levied by this article shall
be made to the department at Montgomery, Alabama, for deposit to the State Treasurer of Alabama.
