Section 25-4-110 Powers and duties of secretary as to administration of chapter generally. It shall be the duty of the secretary to administer this chapter. He shall have power and authority to adopt, amend, or rescind such lawful rules and regulations, to employ such persons, make such expenditures, require such reports, make such investigations, and take such other action as may be necessary or suitable to that end. The secretary shall determine his own organization and methods of procedure in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and the industrial relations law. Annually, the secretary shall submit to the Governor a summary report covering the administration and operation of this chapter during the preceding fiscal year, and make such recommendations as he deems proper. Section 25-7-42 Limitations on labor peace agreements, etc.; rights under federal labor laws; project labor agreements. (a) A county, municipality, or any other political subdivision of this state shall not enact or administer any ordinance, rule, policy, or other mandate that creates requirements, regulations, or processes relating to labor peace agreements or similar agreements. (a) Except as provided in subsection (h) or (i), no person shall administer prosthetic, orthotic, or pedorthic care in this state unless licensed or registered to do so in accordance with this chapter. Section 32-7A-11 Online insurance verification system - Notification upon inability to verify existing insurance; proof of coverage; penalties. (a)(1) When the department is unable to verify that liability insurance coverage exists for a motor vehicle registered or required to be registered in this state, the department shall send the registrant notice via U.S. mail at the last known address as reflected on the department's motor vehicle registration records.
