Section 5-2A-61 Created; commissioner and deputy commissioner generally; examiners; disclosure
of information by officers; seal of commissioner. (a) There is hereby created a Savings and
Loan Bureau which shall be a bureau of the State Banking Department. (b) The bureau shall
be set up, established and administered by the Savings and Loan Commissioner under the executive
direction and control of the State Banking Department, and the commissioner shall be the same
person as the Superintendent of Banks. The Deputy Superintendent of Banks shall be the deputy
commissioner. The salaries of the commissioner and the deputy commissioner shall be payable
out of the treasury, as the salaries of other state officials are paid, and the commissioner
and his deputy shall be allowed and paid for necessary travelling expenses while travelling

Section 16-25-11.8 Purchase of credit for time on leave from service without pay due to adoption
requirements. (a) Any provisions of Chapter 25 of this title, to the contrary notwithstanding,
active and contributing members of the Teachers' Retirement System may purchase service credit
in the system not to exceed one year for any period of time that they were required to be
on leave from service without pay to comply with any state adoption law or regulation requiring
a prospective adopting parent to stay home from work until the adoption process was finalized.
The Board of Control of the Teachers' Retirement System shall adopt rules and regulations
for the administration of this section including verification of the service that the member
desires to purchase credit for in the system. The member shall receive credit for the service

Section 34-12-36 Receipts; disbursements; bond of secretary; employees; gifts, bequests, etc.
The secretary of the board shall receive and account for all moneys derived under the provisions
of this chapter and shall pay the same monthly to the State Treasurer, who shall keep such
moneys in a separate fund to be known as the "Professional Foresters Fund." Such
fund shall be kept separate and apart from all other moneys in the Treasury and shall be paid
out only by warrant of the Comptroller upon the State Treasurer, upon itemized vouchers approved
by the chairman and attested by the secretary of the board. All moneys in the Professional

Section 36-29-1 Definitions. When used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the
following meanings, respectively, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) BOARD.

Section 31-13-5 Enforcement of and compliance with federal immigration laws; information relating
to immigration status; violations; penalties. (a) No official or agency of this state or any
political subdivision thereof, including, but not limited to, an officer of a court of this
